- This new comedy panel show hosted by Alexander Armstrong comes with a bit of a twist. Not only do the celebrity guests have to find the answers, they have to ask the questions too. This pilot show, presented by regular Have I Got News For You host Alexander Armstrong, has been commissioned specially for Dave. Taking part in this first installment are Peep Show’s Robert Webb, ITV2 star Katy Brand and comedy veteran Griff Rhys Jones. And the idea behind the quiz is to make the razor-sharp comedy guests work harder than ever before. Given a subject at random, they have to think up questions on that topic – which they think their rivals won’t be able to answer. Checking the truth of their responses is Dave Lamb – aka the voice of Come Dine With Me – who sits in the show’s bunker, with the Internet at his disposal. It’s QI meets Call My Bluff – and there are plenty of laughs.
